"Called for an early check in on a very busy weekend and the staff was very efficient and accomodating. Check in was simple. Gave 4 stars because its a little outdated and could use some upgrading. Room was expensive but had an event on a very busy weekend. Have stayed there before and everything was great."

"Great hotel that is super big and super busy. My first night there were kids running everywhere and tracking tons of water from the pool to the elevators. The AC in the room didn’t work and when you turned on the tub the shower started spraying all over. Other than those few issues it’s a great place away from the busy-ness of downtown Halifax"

"Overall the facilities were clean, if rather dated. The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. There was very limited dining in the area, but the large grocery store right across was very convenient. We requested and received a room with a shower stall. However, the stall had no shelf to put our things, and there were no handrails for support. As a person with mobility issues, it is unsafe without handrails, and a shower stool to put my things on or sit on would negate the need...

"Very nice hotel in the middle of downtown Halifax. Staff very friendly. Everything here was so clean. The room was extremely spacious (as Residence Inns are) and this one was cleaner than some that I have seen in other cities. Great breakfast was provided. The parking was gone by the time we arrived at 8:00 p.m., so we parked three blocks away in the public garage and it only cost $12. The exercise was good for us. By the way, there are big hills to climb if that is an issue. We had drinks...
