“My family and I love this location. We came into town to attend an event in Atlanta but wanted to stay on the outskirts of Atlanta to avoid all of the traffic and congestion (this was the best decision we ever made). We stayed 2 nights at this location. This hotel is right off of the interstate and is in walking distance to several restaurants. Also, Walmart and many other stores are located right across the street from this hotel. We will book at this location again in the future whenever……

It was so EXTREMELY clean and I could’ve easily stayed for a week and had so much fun in such a calming environment. I can’t wait to come back with my kids and stay longer to truly enjoy how put together the inn was! ”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“Terry who runs the place goes above & beyond. The home is on such a lovely property. Our large group loved the access to the lake. We were also so thankful for the early check-in & late check-out option. We would come back. Note: internet is not strong, but that’s ok. We didn’t use it for tv or cell phones and instead played games and enjoyed the quiet/porch.”
