“For a 5 star hotel breakfast was not on point. It was a hot plate option. Dog friendly hotel but that does not mean dogs should be on seats. This was like a 5 star butlins. This hotel lives on a name. ”

“Our room was supposed to be a deluxe double with a sea view, it was very small, only one armchair, nowhere to put your suitcase, no drawer unit to put your clothes, shower room small, with a shower base which looked chipped, no heated towel rail, my wife couldn’t see in the shower room mirror, it was too high, shower room was cold, nowhere to put your soap bag, at £435 per night, it wasn’t good enough, the breakfast was good, we had no hot water the first day, we were booked for four nights and……

“Incredible opulence. Views overlooking golf course and a light house on the ocean. Outstanding spa. Breakfast is very good with a variety of choices. 9 hole pitch and putt course for guests. ”

“Horrendous stay - received a voicemail mid-stay to say we had to move out the hotel as they were closing with immediate effect (mid afternoon during the 2nd day of a 3 night stay). Knowhere near a 5* hotel though prior to this. Bottle of Vodka within the mini bar in our room had been opened and half drunk. Lipstick all over one of the glasses within the room. Flawed layout in the floor meant the shower door was always leaking on the floor (in the hall of the room). ”
