“I've been to Ayr many times but this was our first time at Daviot's. We were greeted warmy by Linda, who showed us to our room on the middle floor. While there were four rooms at the top of the stairs, we never heard another soul during our four day stay. The bed was comfortable and the recommendations for dining excellent. ”

“This island is a truly beautiful place to visit. Our host Mitch ,left lots of useful information inside our room. Plus his own personal knowledge. If you want amazing hill views , a relaxed environment and friendly locals it's a great place to visit. Allendale house is very easy to find. Get off the ferry .. turn left and aim up hill. Take your second left and your there. Making it an easy walk into Brodick. Good news for people wanting to do goat fell . The main road also goes to holy……

“Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage.”
