“The Monarch is a beautiful building and experience. The staff in particular Bethany at the desk, and apologies if I misremembered this, Armando the bellman were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The attached restaurants set a new standard in my mind for hotel restaurants, Dinner and breakfast both at Aleteo were culinary highlights of our trip. Oak and Amber’s hamburger and tallow fries were an unexpected delight as well and left me wishing we had time for another full dinner on this……

“We visited San Antonio for my best friends Air Force graduation. I don’t care for the area. It’s near a cemetery & I love things that are spooky. So, that was cool. The area was not bad at all. Didn’t have any issues. The home is gorgeous, very spacious & was very clean. I love how each room was laid out. You have what you need to make your own meals. The beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there & would recommend it. My husband was not able to make it out with us this time but next……

“On arrival the staff were very friendly. They suggested a change of room assignment given that the Spurs were playing at home and the Riverwalk might get noisy, so we were switched to a pool view room. The room was excellent. The decor was modern and comfortable and for the most part fresh with minimal wear. The bathroom was good and the toiletries were quality. The only negative was that the room was fairly dark and given that opening the curtains gives a view into the room, this was less……
