“It is an old cabin, but in pretty good shape. The river view is amazing if you can look past the grown up grass and items that have been left behind. Ex. Cooking pots, and trash can knocked over with trash on the ground. Bring your own soap as it is not well stocked. The property could be so much more inviting if it was given a little love! The housekeeper was nice and accommodating.”

“The Cozy Cottage was spotless, and I’m picky about cleanliness. The hosts were gracious, friendly and informative. No detail was overlooked. They even provided a home cooked breakfast! Exceeded our expectations in every way. And so close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Would highly recommend.”

“The cabin is beautifully decorated, with historic memoriabilia, and in a beautiful space! It made for such an interesting stay! It's comfortable, with an original footed tub, the cutest kitchen ever, and a very comfortable living room. It's located just across the street from the Pinehurst Lodge, making grabbing a meal very convenient. The host was responsive, and check-in was very easy - she provided all of the needed information before I arrived. Would definitely stay there again!”

“This is the second time we come to this peaceful house. And we plan to continue coming back in the future when we visit Kings Canyon National Park. The house is clean, comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed spending time in the backyard playing board games at the end of our hikes. In the morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while listening to the birds. Noah, the host, was always helpful and responded right away. He was very kind. This is one of the best houses we have stayed in our hiking……

“I would not recommend this place, property was old and unkept. Bed was worn down, door doesn’t seal at the bottom thus letting in the cockroach that fell on my pillow during the night. Communication with owner was not good.”
