The few staff I talked to seemed friendly. However, the room and the overall place was honestly a dump. Super outdated and in disrepair. Air conditioning didn’t work. My room was hotter inside than outside. Bathroom was a disaster, tv didn’t work and there were about 10 things plugged into one outlet on the wall - not safe at all. Also, you should t call yourself a restaurant (“restaurant” is in the name of the place), if you’re only open 2 hours a day. Don’t bother with this place. Spend a little extra or drive a little further and find something better.

Older, tiny room but close to Kings Canyon
Convenient location to Kings Canyon. Easy no contact check in. Tiny room and bathroom, quite old. Clean but run down a bit. Light bulb hanging from ceiling with no shade. Lamp had no plug close by to plug in, had to move it. Bed was hard and a bit squeaky. Toilet ran on and off all night, and other equipment like a pump was noisy. Located right on the main highway so noisy until late evening.

Liked: Cleanliness
The location to the parks is good and it is clean but it is very, very small. To stay one night is fine but ... Also, it had an ant problem. Would we go back again? Probably not.
Room so basic, even electrical outlets non existent. Should be priced at 50% of its current rate - even if not far from Sequoia National Park.
I travel a lot and do not ask for much - but this one is below sub-standard

The room was cute and bed comfortable. Roku was available and you could sign into your netflix account. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Close to the Kings Canyon entrance. It was quiet at night even tho it was on the 180 fwy. Nice restaurant but a bit over priced for the food quality. There are other close eating options. The bathroom was extremely cramped and rundown. Refrigerator/coffee /ac unit was all in a small closet and the light did not work. I might stay again but try and get a different room.
