“The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay. “I can't say enough about our stay and Clay, our wonderdul host! He was so kind, friendly, and helpful. I chose Clay's place because it was different from your typical home rental. Our room was wonderfully decorated. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated the water bottles in the mini fridge and our favorite ammeniry was the community area ! “This is the tale of two rooms. It was the best of rooms and the worst of rooms. The room is well appointed, has a great location: we loved the room. But, our room was over the restaurant that played music with lots of bass until 2 AM. If not for that, I would have given all 5 star ratings. If you want to go to sleep before 2, get a room on the left side of the floor. My sister in law didn’t have any noise issues because her room was not directly over the restaurant. ”
