"Lovely location"

"Elevator was out of service. I arrived midnight to find out my reserved room at the 6th floor and had to climb 6 floor on the stairs. He apologized after midnight and he told me you can cancel and we won’t charge you. I walked out to find another hotel by 1:30am I had sent a message early evening to let them know I will be checking in by midnight. No answer and no information about broken elevators and room was on the 6th floor and climbing the stairs was the only way to a room "

"Very unique and old (historic) property. Slightly run down, but not unclean. Ideal for a downtown business stay. "

"My stay at Omni Richmond Hotel was overall a nice experience. The location is great and very convenient for exploring Richmond. The only thing that always confuses me is paying for parking at a hotel I already paid to stay at. Luckily, we found parking across the street for $6 and ended up paying only $12 total instead of $45, which was a win. The elevator was a little scary because it jerked when moving and the doors closed a bit abruptly. Our room itself was nice, but the air conditioning didn’t work as expected. We set it to 69 because we’re both dealing with hot flashes and wanted the room cooler, but it never actually felt that cool. It may be a centralized setting for all rooms, or it simply wasn’t working properly. We didn’t call the front desk since it was late. Even with those issues, every staff interaction I had was lovely, and the customer service was warm and welcoming. We didn’t get a chance to check out the heated pool or other amenities this time, but we would definitely come back for another stay."
