“This property is beautiful! Definitely large enough space for nine adults. The hot tub was a requirement for our group and did not disappoint. The only complaint would be having no cell service or strong enough wifi when needed. Thank you so much for having us!! - The Gueltig Crew”

“Cabin in the woods....what more could you ask. It was quiet and in a beautiful setting. Food in the restaurant was standard bar food but it was hot and tasty. Bar staff was courteous and efficient, even when tasked with a rowdy party of about 20 people. They were loud but respectful and the staff took it in stride. Only spent one night in our travels through the area but would stay again.”

“There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box.”

“This cottage is absolutely precious! From the morning and evening deer sightings in the yard to the cleanliness and comfort of the interior, beds, and lounging/ den area it was nearly perfect. Hostess Carri has thought of everything to make this a delightful stay for anyone wanting to visit the area and to attend New River Gorge. AND it is pet-friendly! The trailhead to our chosen hiking trail was nearly within walking distance! Should we ever revisit the area we will most definitely return to……

“I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay……
