The hotel was what we expected - a classic Block Island inn location. Small converted farm house with a few rooms and a breakfast porch. No problem with that. The room was fine and the TV and internet worked well. Breakfast was a very simple continental. Some granola, cereal boxes, coffee, tea, bagel, toast and yogurt. There was also apple and cranberry juice, but no orange. Nothing hot, except toast.
My biggest complaint was the Hotel would not honor the rate on the Expedia itinerary. The said "we don't get the rate on the itinerary", so they charged me about $38 more per night ($372 vs $411). Expensive either was but it was high season. Expedia talked to the hotel but they would not relent on the rate. Expect the same if you book Expedia.
