We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Scott was very attentive and checked in with us several times. It was a beautiful cabin and had everything we could need. We have already booked another stay! Highly recommend Scott and his lively cabin!

The most beautiful cabin we’ve ever stayed in!! We arrived to find this beautiful cabin decorated for Christmas. A tree on the front porch and another tree inside by the fireplace. As soon we walked in the cabin smelled amazing, very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need. The master bedroom is very cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The shower was AMAZING!! The back patio area is just simply stunning. A lot of sitting area, TV on the patio, the hammock, and a fireplace located outside and firewood was supplied by the host. Washer and dryer on site and laundry detergent was provided along with dryer sheets. What meant the most to me was the host really cares about their guest. We arrived with water already in the fridge to use. Garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper all provided. They even had a cute little snack basket for guest to use if needed. The cabin was very easy to find and the roads are perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much we are coming back in April. If you are lucky you might get to see the deer that come visit the property almost daily. Scott is an excellent host, easy to communicate with and we can’t wait to return.

This was a great cabin! Perfect location and Scott was a great host. All the essentials were fully stocked, plus snacks and extras. Scott helped us find a great local driver in the area that took us to the wineries (Jarred)! The property was well taken care of and perfect for couples or families. All of the rooms and the huge back porch being on one level made everything so easy to enjoy. Plenty of firewood onsite to enjoy the back porch fire place. Games for family fun, and there is a great little creek in the back yard that would be perfect during the summer months. It’s about a 5-6 minute drive to downtown Ellijay and about a 12 minute drive to Blue Ridge. We will definitely be back!

Perfect amount of space for my friend and I. Lots of seating options inside and outside. The dirt road was a great hiking spot- the little covered bridge down the road was decorated for Halloween and so whimsical! Loved it all.

Great Experience

My sister and I surprised our mom with a girl's getaway and could not have been happier with our stay. From the thoughtful snack basket, to the great level of communication, to the cabin itself. Everything was great. We will definitely be visiting again.

Picture Perfect Christmas

The pictures do not capture the beauty of the cabin and property. The Christmas decorations and tree made us feel right at home! We spent most of our time on the back deck watching deer and listening to the creek. Scott was very helpful and answered any questions right away. They had everything you needed! Plenty of space to gather as well as allowing for everyone to have their own personal space. We hope to visit again. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience!

Absolutely wonderful!

We absolutely loved this house! It was just enough space for all of us. We spent the chilly weekend in front of the beautiful fireplace watching movies. Scott was so kind and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be returning to this house for future family getaway’s!

Relaxing in Ellijay

Owner was in constant communication with us and very friendly. Check-in was smooth with an early check-in. He texted us when the cleaning was complete and allowed us to go early. When we arrived, it was an exactly like the pictures. Loved the back deck!!! We grilled hotdogs, did smores, built fires and watched deer, all while relaxing and doing as little as possible. Cabin is in a great location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Will return as often as we can and have already booked for the same dates next year.

WOW !!

We have rented cabins in this are for a few years now. This cabin was the best ever. The cabin itself was very clean and the host provided everything to make our stay exceptional. The property was on pretty level ground which made it very easy to enjoy the back yard and walk down to the beautiful creek and sit on the deck. When you walk out to the back covered patio it's just perfect. The stone fireplace, outdoor furniture to relax on all made this stay awesome! The covered patio was for sure our happy place. Every day around dusk the deer would show up along the creek, we never seen less than 10 to 15. We really enjoyed watching all the deer. We try to rent a cabin in the spring and fall every year, and booked this cabin again for November and we can't wait to go back!!!

Beautiful Log Cabin

Very clean and comfortable. A Hugh gift basket with goodies was very much appreciated. We enjoyed the deer that came out to graze on the lawn each evening.

Perfect Family Getaway

So many great things to note here… Scott was a fantastic host! He checked in a couple days prior to our arrival to see if we had any questions and confirm we had directions.. and when we arrived.. so many little gestures to make the cabin feel like a home away from home. A thoughtful gift basket of snacks and stocked full of coffee, not to mention toys for the kids and outdoor activities for us all! The cabin itself… an absolute 10! The setup is amazing, the back deck is the best! So peaceful to be outside while listening to the creek, have a little fire going and watch the deer graze the back yard! The location of the cabin is also convenient to so many great places.. Downtown Elijay, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls, etc.. we absolutely loved this stay and can’t wait to return again.. hopefully very soon! If you stay in this area, stay with Scott at Tank’s Escape!

Christmas in Northern Georgia!

GREAT! place, perfectly setup for our family gathering. Decorated beautifully for the season. The deck was amazing! Fireplace was welcome on chilly evenings, played a ton of foosball and Jenga while enjoying the views accompanied by a number of deer each day! Spent time in Blue Ridge, restaurants, breweries, shopping all wonderful. HIGHLY recommend for spending time with family. Thank you!

It was everything that was advertised...and so much more!

Amazing time. Owner Scott gave wonderful recommendations on local places to eat and places to see. The home was comfortable and inviting as was the outdoor space. Had not played foosball in years and we all had several rousing games on the beautiful covered deck. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Home & Location

We absolutely loved the house! So clean, comfortable & great location. We really enjoyed the back deck and spent all our time out there. We golfed at the local golf course, went to Blueridge, and ate out every night in downtown Ellijay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!

We will be back!

Can’t say enough about our stay! We felt so welcome and relaxed. It felt like staying at a friends house instead of the rigid rules you’ll find at other places. My 16 year old was impressed with the snacks and gum, my infant was happy with the pack-n-play, my husband never left the back porch and I was in love with the master shower. We saw 10 deer and two groundhogs. My husband has never said we should go back to a place until this one!

Amazing Trip

Very impressed with the property and all of the amenities. The property is beautiful and the deck is very impressive, it's where we spent most of our time. We loved that there are all kinds of games available for all ages, indoor and outdoor. This was actually our first cabin trip for my boyfriend's birthday and we loved it. You can tell that Scott the owner takes pride in his property, it is very well kept, updated, and well stocked for his guests. We will definitely be back.

Cabin set on lovely property

This was the best cabin we have ever stayed at in the Ellijay area. Scott was the perfect host and made sure our stay was worry free. It has all the amenities you could ever want inside and out. The setting is lovely and quiet. The outside deck provides shade and plenty of seating for relaxation. Saw deer every evening. Scott's property had many outdoor activities available including horse shoes and corn hole. Our little dog enjoyed being able to run around the yard. We rate this property A+.

North Georgia Getaway

Upon arrival, my daughter and her friends saw a family of eight deer and completely fell in love. The hosts welcomed everyone with a gift basket and even provided items to make s'mores! The cabin itself was clean and so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Scott was such an attentive host. As a parent, I so appreciated his kindness. I can't wait to reserve again and am confident you will love a visit as well!
