Perfection!
Best fishing you could ever have. Lots of space to spread out. Well maintained with all sorts of activities to play with. Private and secluded but close to shopping. Awesome place. Highly recommend.

House is absolutely gorgeous! There were only 3 of us on this trip so we didn’t use all of the bedrooms. Having breakfast on the covered porch overlooking the river was heaven! We went fishing & caught some huge trout. Tubing down the river was a lot of fun. We also loved the hot tub & pool table. The beds are the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. So comfortable that we have been looking online for where to purchase one for our home. Everything was perfect & we can’t wait to come back again next year!

Long weekend getaway...relaxation with plenty of hiking...
We enjoyed our stay very much. Very nice property, great location (at the end of the road) & privacy, good fishing spot on the stream and plenty of hiking opportunities. Will definitely be back.

Spring break 2024
Overall our stay was a success. Kim was great to work with and quick to respond to questions. The check in process was smooth and easy. The only negative I would say is that if you have young kids such as we do and looking for something to do with the kids it’s a 15-20 minute drive to find something. I would visit again in the summer when it’s warm enough to enjoy the creek behind the cabin.

Spring Break
We had a great and relaxing stay. The day of check in we got seriously delayed in traffic and so it was completely dark and monsoon raining when we were navigating the last stretch to the cabin. With a big suburban and tiny roads it was a little nerve wracking but it was fine, the directions were spot on. The rain made the creek super cloudy and too fast moving for us to catch anything in our fishing endeavors but we still had a good time and would definitely stay again.

Almost total relaxation
My family and I loved the place!! We were pleasantly surprised by the open space, the location, the rapids, the fishing, the scenic views-and the kids enjoyed fishing. My grandsons, ages 4 & 6, had their first big catch!! The house was very clean, cozy and bare. It would have been nice to have some coffee packets for starters. There was no firewood. Just sayin’. We picked some up at the store. The gate code was wrong. Thank God there was a car behind me (it is a pretty remote area) who gave me the code so I updated Kim. She was very responsive and helpful with my questions. I never had to do this before but we had to wash all the towels, take the trash out, and take all the bedding off so we had to get up extra early to do chores prior to check out at 11am. That defeated the purpose of a vacation I thought. Other than that, we spent some quality family time together, which was the most important part of this trip. I would recommend this place 100%. Just bring everything but the kitchen sink!!

Always Amazing
We have stayed here a couple of times and absolutely love this house. It is right on the river and loved being able to sit and watch my husband and kids fish while I drank coffee on the porch or read a book in the hot tub. The house is so much bigger than it seems in the picture. The kitchen has everything you need. We were there during the trout release and it was so much fun fun for my kids to experience. The fishing was great. The house is super clean and is comfortable for a large group. We love this place and will definitely be back again for fishing next year.

Great Cabin and Location
We have stayed at this cabin a few times. It is a very spacious cabin with lots of area outside for the kids to run. My only suggestion would be to have an option to purchase firewood. We did bring our own but with a wood burning fireplace inside and the outside fire pit, we had to scramble to find more. (Limited space to bring much from home.)

We had a wonderful time. We have stayed at this cabin several times and it never disappoints! This time I baked cookies from scratch and the cabin had all the things needed (measuring cups/spoons. Etc). We played games, enjoyed listening to the river. This is truly a special place!

Cabin on the river
This was our first time at this cabin. 100% please with cabin 100% clean the kitchen was fully equipped with all you need to cook with. It’s a short diver to the shops and restaurants. We will book again in the future

We had a great stay at this house right on the river. The house was immaculate, the kitchen was well stocked for lots of cooking. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is perfectly decorated to create a cozy log cabin feel. Our boys loved the loft area and I was happy they had their own bathroom up there! Additionally the pool table and gaming console on the first floor were a big hit with our teenagers. The fire pit and outside area are perfect for hanging out. Everyone enjoyed being able to walk right out the door to fish and I loved sitting on the porch watching the kids fish and enjoying my cup of coffee. Everything about the booking was easy. Great communication with the property manager. We can’t wait to go back!

Great family getaway place!
Our family needed a getaway from busy life and we enjoyed a wonderful relaxing stay here. We packed lots of food and snacks to be able to stay in as much as possible but we did venture out to Merciers and to McCaysville which were not too far away Great place to relax and unwind with family.

Relaxing stay
Relaxing remote property that had everything that we needed. Great communication with host. Unfortunately it was a rainy week, but we made the best of it by sightseeing. Enjoyed seeing the deer on the property everday and tge hot tub. The last few miles to the home do not have the greatest roads, so it would be best to have an all wheel drive.
