A toilet bowl with rusted spots, a dump floor, barely working wi-fi, broken safe, broken locks at the entries of the building… whoa, it is a shame to run such a poorly maintained facility for &100 +l”

We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. While breakfast was good and made to order, the “charm” we’ve enjoyed in the past was missing. The decor was very eclectic—no real theme other than filling up a very large facility. “My wife and I stayed for a night to attend a wedding. The room and the property were very nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was worried that the 3 pm check-in would make us late to the ceremony, but the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Check-in took less than 5 minutes! The lobby had decent coffee even in the afternoon. I’ll definitely stay here again when in town.”

“Found 3 cockroaches in the room ! I have stayed at the red horse a number of times when visiting Frederick MD. But this time I woke up to find 3 cockroaches in the bathroom. The place is getting a little run down. The drapes had holes in them and the bathroom tile had cracks. The low flow shower and faucet aren't to good. The air conditioning works really good.”
