“Rudimentary accommodation. Check in was a distraction with two young children being minded constantly. Door let light through from hallway all night and you could hear everything.”

Man fühlt sich absolut in der Zeit zurück versetzt . Natürlich gibt es dadurch auch Abstriche bzgl Comfort, Qualität der Betten etc Das tut dem Ganzen keinen Abbruch- Ein absolut tolles Erlebnis! Das Frühstück ist inbegriffen und sehr gut ! Es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit, Abends im Schloss zu essen!”

“Nice hotel. If you want a tv you need to have a room on the second floor but who needs a tv nowadays when there is WiFi. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom.”

“Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.”

“Tombeck was nice, roomy, comfortable. Had a large kitchen fully stocked with cookware, oven, stove, kettle, microwave. We liked the large wooden dining table. A great place from which to explore Tomintoul and the Cairngorms. Also has a washing machine and dryer, but no instructions so took some time to figure them out (and the washing machine makes a loud noise and really shakes while running).”
