“Lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location for a range of activities. Cosy for an October break but would be fantastic in warmer weather too. Our only small criticism was the night time temperature was set at 15 degrees and couldn’t be changed and while there was lots of cosy bedding we had a toddler who still wakes a couple of times in the night so it was a bit cold tending to him. Still a 5⭐️ break.”

“This cottage was perfect for our stay. The cleanliness and quality of all the rooms meant it was extremely comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly. There was some nice personal touches as well, such as a welcome pack on arrival. The location was ideal, Ballater is beautiful and has great walks straight out the door of the cottage and there is a good variety of food and drink in the town which were all very good quality. Balmoral and the Glenshee ski area were only a short……

“This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It is a very cosy and comfortable holiday cottage, that is well equipped. It has comforrtable beds, with sparkling white linens and towels. It is located excellent for the town, with a fabulous bakery and butchers. We also sampled the fish and chips which were very good too. Would definitely reccomend to friends and family. “The cabin was amazingly beautiful. The decor was very very nice. Everything was very clean and the views were beautiful. First thing I did was take pictures of the cabin to send home. They know How much I wanted to stay in one. I did walk the seven bridge walk I’d sat halfway, also a wonderful scenic walk where I was able to get some fabulous pictures. When I took the walk outside the cabin I was amazed to see rabbits running everywhere. I was like a cartoon, most enjoyable. I did meet up with……

“it was a nice lodge and a nice hot tube over seeing a great view, the sauna not to great, its about hour and 10 min from Perth on a long b road , half way there is a town (blairgowrie) where there is a Tesco and few shops and weather spoons, once at the lodge, the ski place just 5 min up the road, where u can take a trip to the top of the mountain on the ski lift, £6 pound up and £6 pound down or u can walk up and down free . once at top, wow !!! what a view up there,, there another little town……

“The location was fabulous and the garden was a joy. The house was okay but would have benefited from the owners having been less defensive and having acted upon issues already raised by previous reviewers e.g. the mattresses/pillows were very uncomfortable, the tap in the upstairs toilet is very stiff and difficult to turn on or regulate the temperature, especially cold (even the caretaker couldn't sort out).
