We liked being on the landing side. It was ridiculously expensive $400 per night … Father’s Day weekend? One King room… not a suite or anything special, so we requested to be moved from the noisy street side to the landing side. We had a view of the main fountain area/ a little of the lake/river and landing shops. Still, just a plain room that was slightly dated (curtains, old grout, etc). The towels were old and no housekeeping, so trash was an issue. We will book through the hotel next time if we stay again (close to our kids’ camp) as Expedia did not allow us to drop one night of our stay without canceling the entire reservation (2 nights) and would be starting over even though we were within the free cancellation period.By then, they said a one night stay was not possible. So, $800 it was?!…we were in a bind by then. 2 nights in Branson. For this much… Big Cedar Lodge would be better. We did take advantage of the river walk, the shopping on the Landing and the outdoor pool across the street at the Hilton Convention Center (DJ and bar and bar food and a good salad). But, a mix of families and those celebrating adult bdays, etc.) and enjoyed shopping at the outlet mall.
