Hotel Chateau Laurier Quebec

"The hotel is perfectly situated with an easy 5-10 min easy stroll into Old Quebec city but also has wonderful restaurants at its footstep. It is right next to an actual chateau and a grand courtyard so it makes the whole experience very authentic. From our 5th floor room we could see the St. Lawrence river and parliament building which made it so special. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We do wish hotels would consider queen beds instead of doubles which make it harder to share with kids. The gym was small but had good equipment."

"If I could give six stars, I would. The Valet ran over a glass bottle with my car, through no fault of his own. The hotel took total responsibility. They took the car to the shop, checked the tires, and then checked the tires twice more over the next day. Oh, and topped off the gas, all at no charge. This is rarely seen service which I greatly appreciated."

"Its an historic hotel. Its small due to its age, however, im not here to see a hotel so it did its job. The beds are really comfy and soft, so slept really well. But if your sensitive to noises, they have thin walls and ceiling, and the bathroom is tiny, but very clean. Again historic and heritage and honestly was really cool to stay in because we have a view of the St. Lawrence River. They dont have parking but there are parking garages everywhere for decent prices. I would stay there again."

"Great location in lower town, quiet street but walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Was initially concerned of its proximity to the cruise ships, but it was never an issue. Staff was attentive and free bike rental was a plus."
