"We had a great three night stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The main road is busy, but the backyard is private and large. We were able to take advantage of the picnic area with fire pit, which is at the end of a woodsy path. Acadia is a bit of a drive, but there are are also plenty of things to do closer by. The beds are very comfortable. It would be nice to have night stands and reading lamps on both sides of the queen and king beds. I recommend this house for family getaways."

"This was our third year renting in Ellsworth for a basketball tournament and the 2nd one with Cale. Three families enjoyed this wonderful house. The teenagers enjoyed their own area that included a bathroom and living room. There was also plenty of room for all of us to gather in the main living room and t the dining room. The updated kitchen was just beautiful. The hot tub was an added bonus!!"

"We loved this house. Even though there is WiFi and television like most places, this place is filled with an enormous, and eclectic book collection. We spent most of our time, when we weren't touring the island, on the screened in porch reading and enjoying the sunshine and beauty. It's a quiet retreat that had everything we needed and we even bought several books to bring home."
