“This was my seventh day at this hotel in the last couple years. If you’re up in the area to hunt, fish or work, this hotel is fine. We go up several times a year to fish the Trinity River, it’s a step above sleeping in a tent. Don’t expect a whole lot. It’s warm, dry and they have a hot shower. But for $98 a night you can’t beat it. Don’t expect any help while you’re there. Only one time in my seven trips. Have I seen any staff members. “The biggest miss is that one of the beds was not made. Someone had clearly slept there and there was dirt on the sheets. I wouldn't care if the place was not over 300 per night. Additionally, there were no check-in details, no guide how to get there. A little sentence or two indicating what to look for would have been helpful. It was not immediately clear where to go once we saw the address number on the tree. Google maps took us to the wrong place, something that the host should have checked.……
