If you are adventurous, you can drive up to “Pikes Peak” State Park in McGregor, Iowa, with its breathtaking views of the Mississippi River. “Clean and comfortable. The finishes aren’t fancy but everything worked and nice to have off street parking and private yard. The steps to bedrooms 2 & 3 are pretty steep so might not work for everyone. Lots of TV’s so everyone can watch what they prefer. Kind and communicative hosts. I enjoyed the 1968 book celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Lime Springs for a little local history.”
