Given the price and general reputation of motels, I was expecting the bare minimum but was pleasantly surprised with Sagamar Inn. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the area seemed very safe.

Lovely drive to the door motel

The room was very clean and smelled so fresh. It was a large room with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a big comfortable bed. The owner friendly, and was an extremely nice and helpful man. Would definitely recommend it, and will stay again if we are passing that way.

I was moving from hotel to hotel, the beds were like sleeping on the floor, very hard, some I paid for a fridge and microwave but didn't get it, Sagamar, was very pleasant, it had everything you needed, it was remodeled inside, the bed was very comfy and I will give it a high rating inside, it didn't match the outside. The outside was mediocre compared to inside. I will definitely recommend a friend or family to stay there, you will enjoy it.

The night clerk was very nice. The property was clean and tidy. Rooms were clean. First night we had limited towels and wash cloths but the 2nd night was better. The beds were very hard and the pillows so tiny not sure they would pass for pillows anywhere else. If you stay would advise to bring your pillows from home! Overall we would stay again.

I booked a hotel room for three days - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. However, when I returned to my room on Sunday, I was shocked to find that the hotel staff had canceled my reservation and were insisting that I had only paid for two days. After a lengthy and frustrating 30-minute discussion with the staff, I was finally allowed back into my room. To my surprise, I later discovered an additional charge on my credit card for the same three-day period.

Door safety lock was broken off. Bed was very soft. Room had a full size couch. Large walk in area to hang cloths. Old motel. Parked right in front of the room door. No breakfast, just some coffee. Room has a small refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee maker.
