"Not at all what I was expecting but the property manager was nice and easy to deal with. The room had some sort of large dehumidifier unit in it (not pictured on VRBO but took up the entire left side next to the bed), I am supposing to deal with dampness and the smell somehow in the room. It was stinky and hard to adapt to. There was little air conditioning provided and absolutely none in the bathroom where the window stayed open to have any air at all. There were wasp nests in the shower and wasps actively living there every time I was in. Couldn't get cleaned up with sweating straight away upon emerging into little and no air conditioning. The room was dark with no windows and felt smaller than what the pictures show online. The listing shows no smoking yet the lady she called her secretary smoked cigarettes on the porch in front of the airless bathroom and entrance to my room nearly nonstop during the daylight hours. I can't stand breathing other people's cigarette smoke, especially on a stifling hot summer day. On the third day the mildew smell was so bad I couldn't take it anymore. It was putrid. I left for home a day early. Should also be noted that this was located on the store front of a Kratom/smoke store, not a bustling business, but definitely not the serene country setting depicted in the listing. "

"This was a perfect location for relaxing and playing. There were several things to do in the area. You can watch the cows and goats be milked on the property, or explore the area to tube/kayak down the Chipola river, hike, explore caves at the caverns state park, swim in the several springs, shop. We really enjoyed all of the animals the host had. Cows, goats, pigs, ducks, chickens, peacocks, and the sweetest farm dogs that will likely visit you throughout your stay. The home was larger than expected. We will definitely be booking again. "

"At first i was a little leary. Different than most of my getaways. But after a couple of hours got use to it and was very comfortable. Would I do it again? YES!!! One thing NEED Smart TVs. Only like 6 ot 7 channels on the current TVs.ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH "

The carpet was threadbare and badly stained Had to clean the shower of spider eggs before using found stained dirty clothes in cabinets Linen was so dirty and stained had to take it all to the laundromat before using. A round trip of 24 miles A cost of 30 dollars to use machines. All light fixtures were filled with dead bugs I was afraid to open them to clean them. The roof leaked after a rain and soaked both reclining chairs No driveway. Had to drive between two sheds over rough terrain to reach unit. No outside lights so had to use flashlight to enter "
