The latest claim across the top of the door was broken, had to call for wash clothes, and roaches came from out of no where.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this DoubleTree. The FOH staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with questions & requests (Brianna). Their customer service was definitely the highlight of the experience, especially at one of the busy weekend of the year. That said, it's important to set your expectations. This is a “college-town hotel”, and while it provides the clean basics for a comfortable stay. One issue I noticed, and have notice it at other hotels around Tallahassee, is that the room individual AC units tend to have a musty/ mold-like smell.

The place was nice and staff was helpful. The place has a humidity smell but is bearable.

We have stayed here multiple times in the past when we come down to go to Tallahassee to FSU ball game and it was great but since September 1, they switched over from Best Western to Quality Inn and there was no quality at this Inn. The phone in the room was nasty. The headboards on the beds were nasty. They looked like they haven’t been wiped down in a while. We had to go and buy Lysol wipes at Walmart to wipe down the headboard and remote controls. The bathrooms are very small. There were holes all in the walls. The remote controls will not work on the TVs you had to turn on and off the TVs from the TV. The showers were hard to turn on and off water. The water constantly dripped in the shower. This place has really taking a nose dive over the years. We will not be staying here again.
