“It was cheap and in a good area that's what we were looking for!”

“Staying in a tiny cabin is a new experience for most as it was for us. We found it to be quite cozy!! We enjoyed our stay. The tiny house was very well equipped with some ingenious ideas on how to be comfortable with limited room.”

“Very cute little place to stay at. Didn’t have extra toilet paper. No big deal we just went across the street to the gas station to get some.”

“Comfortable and relaxing spot as HQ for visit to Porcupine Mtns and exploring the Keweenaw.”

“Very comfortable cabin on the lake we enjoyed it and would return”

“Clean and adorable! We didn’t get a chance to use the sauna or any of the outdoors areas. We would definitely stay here again ”

“Let me say... I loved Ruth Lake Resort, I can't wait to go back. We stayed in cabin #1. It was clean, comfortable and provided all the basics. I love the lake access, the spot to hang out and watch the sun set. We didn't get a chance to use the grills, but will next time. The garage is another spot you can hang out in, we did. We appreciated the extra area's in the garage, the ice machine, just all of it. We had everything we need and could of just hung out at the resort all day. I want to……

“The house was very comfortable overall, and the main bed in particular was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with enough essentials for us to prepare our meals without any issues. The only area that did not meet the same standard as the rest of the home was the bathroom. The shower had not been thoroughly cleaned, with noticeable soap scum on and underneath the provided shampoo and conditioner bottles. The oven could also use a deep cleaning. We manage a resort in Wisconsin, so we’re very……

“The log constructed beds are interesting but a bit too bulky for the small cabin, making a bedside table not bedside but a couple feet away. No place for toiletries in bathroom and the shower floor was spongy. Not dealbreakers but improvements could be made. Everything else was very nice.”

“Great place to stay at. We had no TV. We were told it was cloudy out and there is no tv when that happens. Isn’t that 90% of the year in the upper peninsula. ”

“Found these cottages by chance & we’re so grateful. It seemed that EVERY other place was booked; required multiple night stays, or would not allow pets. Our request was granted promptly thru VRBO, as usual. Admittedly, it was strange not having a hotel clerk to admit us, but we were used to it w VRBO. We did see two different folk, leave after being baffled (?) by QR code contact/ admittance. The little Cabin was immaculate. Lake was too windy to enjoy & we checked into late to fire up the……

“Very clean, place great location”

“We all arrived for our six day stay at different times so having a code entry worked great for our family. We had some concerns about smoke from the Canadian fires but Rebecca was good about corresponding with us. The lower level walkout was really nice for the kids. They had a place to put towels, shoes and toys in one spot by the door. We all enjoyed the firepit area, sauna, games, playhouse, dock with swim pad, putting green and the spacious yard for baseball and kickball. The bedding was……

“Very nice relaxing place. Everything was great and it was near the lakes and other outdoor activities. Well stocked and comfortable.”
