“Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!”

“The room and property were clean. A/C worked great. We asked (twice) for our room to be cleaned on a specific day, (you have to request room cleaning) it did not get done. After another request was done the next day, which was the day before we left. Danielle did an awesome job!!!! The TV remote was not working very well. Got another remote, was not programmed for that TV, had only 1 channel for 2 days. Finally got another remote that worked. Asked for a pillow, was basically told no. (Was……

“Bed sheet had brown splatter stains. White towels were grey looking. Dead bolt on door was broken like the door had been kicked in. Room looks like it's had updates but the door was rough looking. TV worked sporadically. It was overall a super sketchy looking place. Staff was nice though. Rather overpriced for the quality of the place and the poor quality of bedding and towels, only bathroom items was 2 tiny bars of soap, no shampoo, not sure there was kleenex either, maybe roll of toilet paper.……

“Breakfast is $15, and they advertise eggs cooked to order. But it is the same as any continental breakfast, you serve yourself, pick out what you want from the normal choices of biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt etc. etc. and it’s scrambled eggs, not made to order. I turned on the bathtub and rust came out from the tub faucet, it did clear, and I did report the rust. The room was musty. And the snack bar was under construction, so no snacks. Yet still paid full price,”

“Room smelt terrible, was dirty, and I woke up itching from head to toe. Bedding was stained and I believe infested with flees or bedbugs. Would not recommend.”

“The room was clean, but rather sparse. The tv was hard to figure out. The staff were friendly and its location is next to a couple of well stocked convenience stores. Good place for a nights sleep if you are traveling on a tight budget. Don’t expect anything fancy.”
