“Home was lovely, very clean, well kept and inviting. The game room with karaoke, large projector, games was super nice and a big hit with the kids. We had a family fun dance party. The small town of Crestone was eclectic. The only downside were the mosquitos.”

But Charley’s property is so wonderful we spent almost all of our time on site! Sitting in the beautiful yard, watching newly fledged mountain bluebirds. Looking at the incredible stars. Relaxing on the comfortable sofas. This property has everything we could have even imagined. It is not someone’s cabin they rent out once in a while....

“Blue Elk is an excellent stay. Vrbo and especially Tracy, the host, were helpful in making reservations and preparation. The site has all the appliances and supplies of home in good working order. The location is breathtaking. We loved the wildlife (although watch out on the road!) and (mostly) quiet, cool weather in late July, but warm blankets too. A great time had by all.”
