“This house was everything I hoped for. It was so well thought out, small, but charming and completely appointed with everything you need. Clean, cute, comfortable. And the host is so quick to respond anytime we had a question. We definitely want to return. We were there 4 days and did not even get to do all of the things we would like to. The horses came by almost every day. I would recommend this Cozy cottage off the beaten path anytime to anyone.”

“I stayed here for the weekend with my mom and older sister for a family reunion. The place was better than what we expected. Nice secluded area. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Check in and check out was really simple and easy. If I am ever in the area again, I would stay here. It’s absolutely perfect. Thank you Mercy and John!”

“I had originally rented the place for Fourth of July. Very last minute as our rental home was booked.. even more last minute ours canceled and Josie was gracious enough to allow our friends to stay there in lieu of us. I thought that was so kind of her to allow us to do that. I was told they thought it was very nice. Best of luck to you in the future.”

“Perfect stay at this lovely house in Carova Beach. We loved the deck safely providing a place for our golden doodle to play, kitchen with most everything needed to make delicious meals, comfy furniture and beds, nice deck overlooking the ocean and beautiful sunrises, horses in the yard, and our first experience watching baby sea turtles heading to the ocean. What a beautiful time we have had in a beautiful house. Thank you!!!”

“This house is just as pictured! Beautifully maintained and has all the extras you could possibly need for an incredible beach trip! There were enough kayaks for our family of 5 to go out for the day too. We loved seeing the horses visit daily. The screened in deck was great for morning coffee and watching the horses. The downstairs deck is perfect for enjoying meals and hanging out after a day at the beach. We really enjoyed our stay at this house!! ”

“Great property- had everything we needed. Close to downtown Duck, yet far enough away where we weren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Easy access to Corolla and points South. Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need!”

“This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The sunrise and sunset are stunning the perfect place for my morning coffee or for us to unwind and fish in the evening. The host was quick to answer any questions or help in anyway. Kitty hawk is only 20mins away making it nice to get away from the crowds and traffic but convenient if you want some beach time. ”

“Perfect vacation home, quiet, peaceful, and well laid out property. Loved cruising the 4x4 beach in my Jeep wrangler daily. They also had all the amenities you could need for your stay. Our young son and my husband enjoyed the kayaks on the canal for early morning fishing while I enjoyed the gorgeous mornings on the lovely porch enjoying my coffee and the horses that greeted us every morning and evening during our stay. Our daughter enjoyed the paddle board, while we grilled in the afternoons……
