“I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though”

“This is the biggest rip off. For what I paid for one night here I could have stayed in a Hilton with actual soap, shampoo, conditioner, real coffee with an actual cup, a hot breakfast buffet, and a comfortable bed and linens that are actually soft, and a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Yes, the view is beautiful, but it’s Coastal Maine, there are plenty of places with beautiful views. The good-beautiful view, hot water, there is a hot tub (that smells) and an outdoor sauna The bad- no one……

“Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again”

“Very nicely decorated and many amenities. Just a little far from things I was doing. Very peaceful and wonderful.”

“It was very clean. The drive was a little tricky. But gps was made for a reason. It so definitely tiny. It smelled of fresh wood, and the wood work is impressive! If you can’t walk up a small set of stairs I wouldn’t book this. The bed you have to crawl into. Theres not much head room. But we didn’t. We had a great host.”

“We loved this place! It was so cozy and relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for as we explored Bar Harbor and Acadia during the day and then relaxed out on the dock and the swing at the end of the day!Highly recommend if staying in the area.”

“A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer!”

“Beautiful view and great amenities esp for families with kids- great bunk room and game/media room with pool table and arcade games that our grandsons loved. Hot tub and fire pit were a big plus as well and the s’mores kit left for us was a great touch! Host was very communicative and we enjoyed the stay!”

“Wonderful place and very attentive!”

“The house was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and charcoal grill. Jeff was very friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful for exploring Acadia and especially the Schoodic Peninsula.”

“The house is really nice with a large yard and it’s great having kayaks right on the water. We had an amazing time. We only had one issue and the host was super responsive. We were a family of 11 and we had plenty of space.”

“I needed dark skies and this house delivered! The home is cozy and clean, I appreciated the Epsom salt soaks left for use in the tubRemote but not isolated”

“This was such a lovely place to stay with so much to do right nearby. The hosts have literally everything covered in their very helpful guide. The outdoor shower under the stars was amazing. The kids enjoyed the loft. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. Very peaceful location to rest after busy days visiting Acadia. We would stay here again! Highly recommend Acadia puffin boat tour right down the road, Hollingsworth trail, Birch Point trail and Pigeon Hill trail.”

“This was a lovely Inn. Would recommend”

“Phenomenal staff. Absolutely phenomenal. Everyone. Ate at the restaurant for breakfast (@3 times), and it was superb. Definitely seems to be a dinner destination for many people not staying on site. Would have loved to have tried it, but spent long days in Acadia NP (MDI and Schoodic) and generally not back in time.Would certainly return to this property.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this home. The communication with the host was excellent. They were prompt to answer our questions before, during and after our stay.We look forward to our next stay with them.”

“Property was lovely, clean and comfortable. Only drawback was spotty WIFI.”

“The location was easy to find and quiet. Building and room were well kept, clean and comfortable. The staff and owners were amazing people! They really made you feel welcomed and were happy to make your stay the best! Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. They gave us suggestions for places to visit during our stay and we were not disappointed. The recommendations received were perfect! We plan on coming back as soon as we can. ”
