“Room was clean and tidy and the outside property is beautiful. This is an old, historic inn that definitely needs some updates and a more hospitable check-in manager. No “hello or welcome”, he just said “step over here” (in a dark corner) and “I need the card you paid with”. I responded with “Hello how are you today?” Not a welcoming friendly vibe from the front desk staff who are as poorly dressed as the inn. “Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……

“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”
