Apartments in Derby for Rent

"I feel the description of the castle and its accommodations were on point. Nothing to do with the castle itself but Ticks were an issue. The beds were not the most comfortable- but not the worse either. A futon was broken and unusable- this could have been an issue if we had been expecting to use, the door racks to the ref. were missing, icemaker didn't work and dishwasher seal was lying inside (we didn't use). We had plenty of toiletries, towels, dishes, cookware, grill gas, dish soap,body soap,as well as extra blankets and pillow for 1 person not sleeping in a bed - There was not enough if there had been a full 26 people. There were other available amenities as well- Hot tub (it was used by some, but the water did have an odor to it), The pool table was crowded by furniture and a little less easy to play a real game- needed more pool sticks. We really had a great time. There was alot of seating on the decks and a large dining table in cabin- Made for awesome family time. There were a few small issues that we reported to Bud- He was easy to reach and provided answers to all our questions. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that I was paying for a cabin to sleep 26- Then after payment, I was sent another bill for there being more than 2 people. I was not happy about that at all- It was for 26 and no additional fee should have been called for."

"This property was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice, although the lighting over the sink wasn't great. The breakfast bar offered many choices and it was well stocked. Everything just looked very clean and well maintained. We stayed in room 325, and I meant to mention to the front desk that the dead bolt would not slide into place when we tried to lock the door. We liked the big bath towels and the mattresses and bedding were so comfortable. If I had anything to suggest, it would be some signage next to road to show where to turn into the property. We weren't sure where to turn. We ended up on some kind of access road that ran between the hotel and the main highway. That wasn't the right way to go. We tried turning into the McDonalds, thinking a road from their parking lot might exist to get over to the hotel. No luck! We finally found the road to turn onto, and had we used our GPS, it probably would have led us to that correct road; but we could see the hotel and thought we could surely find our way to the front entrance. Just a sign next to the drive would have been nice. Anyways, just a thought from a senior citizen! Thank you for your hospitality and pleasant stay."

"Beautiful home, beautiful view of the Ohio River. (Especially at dawn) There were 18 of us. We grilled, played games, flew kites. Everyone had a wonderful family weekend together!"

"This is quite the place, a log cabin right on the bank of the Ohio River. This property is off the “beaten path” and very remote. The rental is very rustic looking, yet has all the amenities we could ask for; WiFi, air conditioning, stove, dishwasher, and comfortable furniture. It is truly a gem. My only thought is that the WiFi didn’t connect well in the “far reaches” of the master bedroom. I would get a eero or something that extends the WiFi reach; other than that, the master bedroom has a California king bed, which we liked. There are a total of 3 bedrooms. There is a bathroom on the main floor, connected to the master bedroom, and one in the upstairs area., connected to the bedroom, upstairs. The inside was designed well. The fire pit, outside, was a nice feature. The owner provided a limited amount of firewood. If you want more, you will have to bring your own or buy it locally. The covered porch, porch swing, and chairs, are heavy duty, and very good quality. We had no disappointments. This is a very nice place and would like to visit again sometime."
