“We spent 4 nights at this beautiful cabin with our 3 furbabies. First of all, finding a property that allows pets and DOESN'T limit you to only one is nearly impossible. This rental doesn't have a set limit, but rather a weight guideline. All 3 of our dogs are under 35 pounds, so this was a great fit for us! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The couch in the living room was super comfortable and saw several hours of snuggling with our 3 babies. The kitchen is spacious enough to cook real meals……

“Upon arrival and check in, our first offered room smelled awful, the second was a bit better & the third worked great. It was obviously a known issue because the staff asked if it smelled moldy when I said it smelled bad. Our 2nd room had some lights and a the bathroom fan that didn’t work. The 3rd was well maintained and quite clean. The pool got the most attention, which was comical considering the small of some of the rooms. I gave them 5 stars because the staff, specifically Freddy, went……

“They can most definitely do better.”

“The breakfast was adequate. The room was dusty. The lady said they had been doing construction work in the room and they tried to get all the dust out. The comforter was blood stained. Also there was no shampoo in the dispenser. The lady at the front desk said they were having a hard time finding housekeeping workers. They were down to one that day and the wives of maintenance workers were helping clean the rooms. The people I dealt with at the front desk were very pleasant. The rest of the……

“All was good and clean. But smelt old and a little dirty. And had a knock on the door at 11:05 because I hadnt checked out yet. As we were gathering everything up..”

“Awesome stay”

“Easy check in, great home. Really enjoyed our stay. ”

“The property was absolutely beautiful! Cabin was in excellent condition and very well taken care of and furnished. Very happy with our stay!”

“This home was very family friendly. Our hosts knew what families need. The games, toys and snacks were all appreciated. I also loved that it was away from the city lights so we were able to enjoy the night sky. The proximity to Holiday World was awesome. After a long day at the park, we were able to get back quickly. We definitely recommend this to others, especially famlies.”

“Love this house. The hosts were prompt and very helpful. We'll be coming back.”

“Very clean, nice, pet friendly place to stay. Quiet and secluded. Was well furnished and the host even supplied something extra we requested. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. Host was very responsive. Would highly recommend!”

“This was the perfect place for my family to stay for our annual trip to Holiday World. We have stayed at other hotels and the cottages near the park and this place was by far the best. Perfect amount of space for us, our 2 girls and our 3 nieces. Loved the location. Our kids loved the animals. Hoping to make it back next year and will definitely look to book Shannon’s place again. I highly recommend Shannon’s place!”

“The property was conveniently located within all of our planned attractions.”

“Family friendly, close to holiday world!”

“We enjoyed the stay the cabin was very clean and accommodating. The hosts were great and we had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and we saw 12 deer the first night we stayed. We went to a cave the next day it was cool. We hope to go there again sometime.”
