“Stayed overnight. No water I couldn't wash myself, a/c bearly working, no internet connection, no bar to have a coffe fresh water, no restaurant to have a meal, staff barely talking at all in any language....realy sad atmosphere. I use to stay in this hotel and it was a decent place totally opposit of what is now.”

“Le personnel nous a fait attendre 1 heure la nuit pour check-in même si sur le site et sur place il était écrit réception ouverte 24/24h pour ensuite nous traiter très mal. Plusieurs fois, j'ai montré l'e-mail de confirmation de voyage mais personne ne l'a jamais vérifié sur un serveur sur l'ordinateur ou autre. Ils nous ont dérangés toute la matinée en disant que nous devions payer le petit-déjeuner (que nous avions déjà payé inclus dans le prix sur le site) et ce n'est qu'à la fin qu'ils ont……

“I booked two rooms via hotels.com for Hotel Girafe in Yaoundé for June 25, 2022. I paid in full. On arrival at the property, I was told there was no reservation for me and that the hotel does not have any online booking capabilities. I showed my reservation numbers and emails from hotels.com, yet the hotel claimed that they do not have any online presence. So my question is how come they are listed on hotels.com and yet, say they do not have any online presence and bookings cannot be done……

“Ho soggiornato 1 settimana per lavoro. Le foto pubblicate sono ingannevoli e probabilmente risalenti a quando lo avevano ristrutturato. Arredamento fatiscente, bagno con fili elettrici scoperti, le pareti sporche o non verniciate, accompagnano un livello di servizio molto scadente, un ristorante veramente indecente e del personale poco rispettoso e con poca voglia di servire i clienti. Sono stato veramente deluso, lo sconsiglio a tutti i viaggiatori in visita a Yaounde.”
