"From arrival to departure the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the Northumberland Coast and beyond and it's only a few minutes drive to Bamburgh Castle. The beach is literally across the road from the hotel and great for dog walks. Our room which was situated on the ground floor was gorgeous and meticulously clean, it had double doors leading to a private patio which was perfect for Delphi our dog. From breakfast to evening meals the food was delicious with plenty of choice and the portions were perfect. Delphi was treated to a sausage for each of her breakfast visits! An extremely dog friendly hotel and we shall definitely be visiting again."

"A really nice hotel. We stayed one night in a family room (family of 4 with 2 teenage girls). The room was spacious and well laid out. It was clean and modern. Both check in and check out were quick and easy and the staff were really friendly. We used the hotel restaurant and bar which was super convenient after 2 weeks of travelling. All in all this place far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Alnwick."

We booked dinner for the first night, the food was lovely, so much so we eat there again the following night. We’d definitely recommend the fish and chips, pizza and Zuppa Di Pesce - amazing fresh fish and tomato soup! "

"We had a better than anticipated stay with the hotel has relatively new interior with welcoming staff. It was a good value choice with swimming pool where we drove there so the location is never the problem. The place do feel extremely clean and the Buffett breakfast is good and well organised. The only slight disadvantage is the water pressure of the shower is not the best. "
