“I booked a room through Expedia and purchased cancellation insurance. Upon arrival at my room, I noticed a strong smell of smoke that made me nauseous. I immediately took my key back to the front desk and said I would not be staying, would be cancelling my reservation, and said I would be requesting a refund. The front desk clerk then said, "Do not worry. We will refund your fees." I contacted Expedia and they said they woukd ask the hotel directly if they would refund my money. They came back……
