“Beautiful hotel, but falls short of 5-star luxury. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Nautilux, but it didn’t wow us. Beautiful architecture and rooms, but the experience felt more 3–4 star than 5-star luxury. The seafront location is lovely, although Old Town is a 30–45-minute walk away. Electric scooters were handy for evenings out. Breakfast was our biggest disappointment. Hot food was consistently cold, poached eggs had raw whites, there were no yoghurts, few dairy-free options and the same……

Schade.”

“Well thought out for families, still allowing sufficient space for privacy/quiet time for a couple with only child. Lots of activities and areas for our child to make friends. Excellent food, all the staff (particularly the unsung service heroes) were superb. A wonderful experience. Book any restaurant meals as early as possible!”

“Beds and pillows are soft and need to improve Coffee quality needs to be better”

“Entry to the Hilton hotel was met with the customary sit down (welcome drinks, towels, a run through of the map and facilities of the hotel) which was nice Reception staff was friendly as expected which is a requirement for front office staff. This was offset by a couple of pretty angry and rude buggy drivers. Nevertheless, doesn’t change our impression of the hotel too much. The hotel had many pools which would have been great in peak summer with lots of”

“BEAUTIFUL MAINTAINED GROUNDS. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF. WE HAD A PARTIAL SEA VIEW BUNGALOW - THE VIEW WAS GOOD & BUNGALOWS ARE LOCATED IN A QUITE PART OF THE RESORT. LOVED OUR BALCONY ( RM 30). MAIN CRITICISM OF THE ROOM IS THE OVER BATH SHOWER. WHOEVER PLANNED PUTTING THE TAPS IN THE CENTRE OF THE BATH AS WELL AS THE WIRE RACK & SOAP DISPENSERS HAS NEVER TRIED TO STAND TAKING A SHOWER IN THE BATH WHILST FIGHTING THE PLASTIC SHOWER SHEET - IT IS DANGEROUS . I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW HEAVIER / LARGER……

“We have just returned from our sixth stay, and once again we had such a wonderful time. From the delicious food and beautiful facilities to the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, everything made our stay special. You can really feel that the entire team cares about making guests feel comfortable and well looked after. The only thing that didn’t cooperate this time was the weather, but despite that, we had an excellent and relaxing time. After visiting six times, I think that says……

“You cannot fault this hotel. The rooms were bright, spacious and the beds were oh so comfortable. There was a wide and varied choice of food. But I think what stands out the most was the exceptional staff. Their customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They were flexible and helpful. I would especially like to mention both Lisa Smith in guest services and Despina who was serving in the water park bar. Both went out of their way to be kind, helpful and extremely friendly.……

“Fantastic stay, Great location, highly recommend. Nice clean room with great sea views, staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good with so much choice. Good evening entertainment with live music good spa, had a relaxing massage. Two nice swimming pools and surrounding areas. Relaxing vibe would return to the hotel if visiting Crete again.”

“Anlage in einwandfreiem Zustand.

“Schönes Zimmer, toller Blick, Pool etwas kalt, super Personal”

“We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and……

“We stayed at the Syntopia Hotel for our summer holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they put in extra effort to get to know you and ensure you are having a lovely holiday. A few days into our holiday, they were automatically bringing our favourite drinks to our table at meal times which was very lovely! The food had such a good variety with a different focus every other night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian night. We would recommend staying at the Syntopia to everyone!”
