“We were initially put off by the look of the outside of this “Inn”! But it turns out we were greeted by a smiling and polite person during check in. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had thick towels and well stocked. All and all it was a very pleasant stay at a very reasonable price!”

“Nothing bad about inside the room (108) -- but it was next to the hallway to the stairs to the second floor, so heard occasional foot-stomps during the evening. No other noises, though. Spatious double sinks, very unusual. Huge, firm bed. The manager has quite the beautiful flowers and vegetables garden as landscaping, including some exotic trees. Obviously this will vary by season, but Coreopsis verticillata (yellow/orange/red) was in full glory, with Cosmos coming on, among other things. Also……

“I was pleasantly surprised in how well well-maintained this property was. Beautiful decor, impeccably clean, and extremely comfortable bed and linens. We were in a king room with a little deck off the back. It was just lovely to sit outside and have a glass of wine. Check in and check out was a breeze and this adorable hotel is in a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. ”

“We loved our stay in Deerfield Valley Inn. One of the best inns in Southern Vermont that we stayed in. The room was spacious, cozy, clean and elegantly decorated with a fireplace.
