"Absolutely beautiful place! Loved staying here."
The only thing I think could improve was a strange smell coming from the bathroom. Pretty sure it wasn't me.

"Great location, but not the cleanest"
We stayed at the hotel during a 4 night visit in Dublin in late December. The location of the hotel is fantastic, and most of the popular places are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The bed was also very comfortable, although because it was two singles pushed together, there were plug sockets directly next to your head which in my view was dangerous. The bathroom wasn't great, the toilet seat was broken and was not repaired despite staff being told twice. There were dirty marks on the walls, brown sludge on the bathroom wall and a suspicious white stain on the curtain. The shower pressure was very poor and one morning, I had to have a cold shower as it appeared the hotel had run out of hot water. We are used to staying in premier inn hotels and similar so this was way below the standards we were used to. The bathroom is also very small. Overall, the location is what brings the rating of this hotel up to 3 out of 5. Had it not have been for this, it would have been lower.

Great room was upgraded to kingsize dulux room. Was nice and clean very spacious, beds were comfortable. Only complaint was geting in at night the door is lockd and you have to ring a bell to enter the hotel, We ended up standing outside for around 10 mins waiting for someone to answer, would be far easier if ur hotel room card could be used on frount door aswell.

Travelling to Dublin on a budget for business, I needed somewhere to rest and get my bearings. The Ashling staff were great - knowledgeable about their city and able to direct me where I needed to get to. I took advantage of the bar food in the Iveagh - a creamy, pleasantly spiced red Thai curry really hit the spot, and the full Irish breakfast the next morning was both tasty and filling, setting me up for the day. I found the Ashling as part of a flight+hotel package, but would happily select it again, on its own merits.

"Wonderful location"
We arrived around 11am, much earlier than the check in time of 3pm, but were able to check in at that time to our surprise. Our room (the standard double room) had lovely high ceilings and quirky decor. The bed was very comfortable and clean, while the bathroom was spacious and modern. The hotel is directly across from Trinity College and very close too Grafton Street. We chose to walk to the Guiness Storehouse - it took us about half an hour. Walking home from Temple Bar was very easy as well. The location was perfect with the bus stop to the airport very close. We had late-night drinks in the bar. The bartender could have been friendlier, but all other staff we encountered were great. We did not have any food, but the drinks were well-priced and standard. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to friends.

Rooms are a good size and very clean. Comfortable beds and possibly the best shower I've ever experienced. The only issue was that fact that the bathroom was very slippery after a shower and didn't dry at all, other than that everything was excellent. 100% would stay here again
