They allowed us to check in early which was helpful, but that might have impacted the cleanliness of the rooms. Maybe if they had more time, the rooms would have been more thoroughly cleaned. "The room was bigger than I expected, and I was impressed with the size of the overall hotel itself, given that it's tucked away next to and above a pub. A nice room and spacious bathroom. No frills, but very comfortable and clean. Definitely bring your earplugs as the pub noise goes well into the night, as you might expect. Adds to the ambiance! Nice place."

"Poor experience. Welcome “here’s the key, your room is over there”. Room in a separate building from the pub- large, popular establishment close to the Quay but 2 miles from town centre. Room adequate and clean. Old fashioned, needs new decor and bathroom. Comfortable bed"

"I arrived at the property on Friday evening having reserved 6 rooms on Expedia only to be told there was no record of my booking (despite the fact I am now completing a review requested by Expedia) I was hosting a party of 10 clients for a weekend away so this was a shock. to be fair to the owner he quickly found us alternative accommodation , but this was a fair way out of town and far from convenient. I would suggest you double check your booking with the property before leaving ."
