“First off, this is a 700 year old building. I cannot even imagine having to maintain modern facilities in such an old property. That's where the deductions come off for cleanliness and maintenance.
The positives: Friendly and helpful staff, absolutely prime location inside the Latin quarter. 30 seconds after leaving your room, you can be ordering a pint at the pub next door. They mention the noise in the description, but it wasn't really a big issue so long as you kept the windows……

“Off the beaten path and secluded from noise. Nice break from the hustle and bustle. Would have enjoyed AC as the room was a bit stuffy. They did give us an extra fan which helped. We enjoyed the uniqueness of the property.”
