“The Bull Pen, as Brad's place is called, was great for our visit to Durham to celebrate our younger grandchild's graduation from high school. The open floor plan made gathering easy and enjoyable, but we all had the privacy of good-sized bedrooms when we needed it. Check-in was a breeze. Brad's instructions for arrival--even construction areas to avoid on the way in--and his timely responsiveness to all queries were stellar.”

The house has everything you can ask for, and our favorite part was the large screened in porch that we enjoyed both morning and night. “Old house and rejuvenated but clean. Served well for 2 nights. The place is a bit dim and dark. Quiet. Mattress needs replaced in my opinion. I would stay again.”

“Charming cottage, very comfortable. Impeccably cleaned. Excellent location. Gorgeous yard. We sat on the porch at night and listened to a symphony of birds, frogs, and a big owl in a tree across the street. We stayed with our two dogs and they were happy. Note that the fence is a split rail, so for pets they will need to stay on a leash in the yard. Hosts were easy to contact and very knowledgeable about the area. Property is described as quirky.
