“We really enjoyed Stella! So comfy and clean. You can really do a lot with the kitchen and 3/4 fridge/freezer. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into your comfort. You will not be disappointed. ”

“This property has no place to put things, very minimal kitchen equipment, no lamps, no comfy chair, no TV instructions, no bedding for extra beds. Very clean but challenging to actually stay there. Outside box with key very difficult to access, broke two nails trying.”

“It was a modest, but extremely comfortable and workable set up. My wife and I have two dogs, and this worked out very well. There is a hard floor with rugs, which made cleaning very easy. The only downside of the apartment is the slightly uncomfortable entrance, involving an outside door, opening immediately to a staircase on the one hand, and an (our) apartment door to the left. Realistically, none of this was any kind of problem; just a bit clumsy and unconventional. We would happily stay……

“We loved our stay here! What I loved most was the common area with the large sectional and seating area. Plenty of space for the 5 of us to spread out! We used the kitchen for all meals and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for cookware and utensils. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The location is great, a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the harbor. The only thing I would suggest to make it a better stay is more towels and adequate bedding for the pullout……

“When I first saw this listing, there was only one review & it wasn't great. Fortunately I realize that people have different standards & paid little attention to it. This space is so lovely &, though not much separates the room from the studio/gallery space attached, the owners are quite respectful of privacy & were very helpful when we were too techno-challenged to open the door initially. The front porch is a tranquil place to sit & look out over the cove & the neighborhood was quiet enough……

“The apartment was quite cozy and clean. However, winter in Maine is unpredictable and must prepare for it. Huge liability risk not to have lighted parking area at night, walkways too narrow of snow and not well lit or shoveled.”
