"I booked this as a birthday surprise for my fiancee, and we needed some downtime. The house was just as described - much thought went into the decorations. The views of the river were amazing. We even got to see some Osprey. The hot tub sits great, so you can see and hear the river. I will come back again."

"Very cute house that is nicely updated. Location is great and is walkable to the Hot Springs and everything downtown. We didn't use our car once after getting to the rental. There was some confusion with the bunk beds, as there is one set of twin bunk beds in the room, and when I asked we were told they were one set of full, so we had to make due with some tighter sleeping arrangements with 4 kids. "We made a very last-minute booking (day before arrival) to visit this property for a couple of days over spring break. We had a pleasant stay, and really enjoyed the property. My wife grew up a few hundred yards from this property, down near the river. We had a great time reminiscing with her, and listening to stories. The house has an incredible view of Sopris and Carbondale. The house was equipped with everything we expected. We would certainly visit again if we're in the Carbondale area."

"Very nice kitchen, large spaces, great location to Basalt and ski areas. Completely satisfied our needs, nice to find a basic house in ski country. Figuring out the heat and thermostats took a little time, and the lights above the kitchen counter never came on. Few wall hangings, decorations, or mirrors. However, I would definitely stay there again."
