“We absolutely loved our stay here! Carley’s place was spacious, very clean, and just so nice. There were even fresh flowers! There was awesome communication from her and we had everything and more than we needed due to her rocking host qualities. The view is beautiful and the location is unbeatable and walkable to everything fun. We would love to stay here again, it is an awesome, awesome place to call home for an Elk Rapids trip.”

“Centrally located just outside of downtown Elk Rapids. The home is within walking distance to downtown ER, the beach, the Shorts Pull Barn & nearby grocery store. It’s a great jumping off point for day trips to TC, Petoskey, Bellaire and more. Despite being located off a main road, the home is quiet & offers a peaceful setting.All of the rooms include large smart TVs, and comfortable beds. “Absolutely incredible location with a modern, new ‘cabin’…ice cold A/C!Thayer Lake access on property allowed for kayaking in easy water. There’s a Torch Lake beach about 3 minutes away for swimming etc. We enjoyed The Muffin Tin in Alden!The owners were great to communicate with and work with. The in-unit ductless washer/dryer was a huge plus for me. The water is a little hard so plan accordingly if not used to it. I personally slept on the queen. “Excellent location with easy late night check in process thanks to great communication with host. Quiet, upper level apartment with all the amenities we could want. The heated pool has a nice view of the beach, and the beach is pristine with plenty of beach lounge chairs to relax. There is also a nice patio with umbrella tables to enjoy the area between the pool and beach. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“The property was nice, but not easy to get to the waterfront. The stairs did not all have railings or were buried in vines; pathway washed out, so hard to climb up to house or down to water.The deck was nice but hard to see the bay and outdoor dining table was too big so could not sit at the sides - only the ends and had to go out different doors to access each table end.”

There was a shuttle bus stop across the street to go downtown. The cherry festival was about 1.2 miles away. I like walking but some people do not, if they have mobility issues, or if the weather is not great.Of the two bedrooms only one is ensuite. The other bedroom is quite small, with no closet, and the bathroom is down the hall.……

“Our stay was very disappointing. Unbeknownst to us, when we arrived, the outdoor entry code had been changed, but the host never notified us. The only reason we were able to get in the night we arrived was by chance that I had added an extra number and gained access. I could not have duplicated the code if needed, so we had to hold the door open for one another as we unloaded, otherwise we were locked out and couldn’t gain access.
