If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing."

"This property provides a wonderful riverside stay on the New River right on the river with easy access and easy parking right in front of the cabin efficiency. Close access to to the Whitehorne Boat Ramp for those the need a ramp as well as the scenic McCoys Falls right up Rt 625. Communication and instructions was excellent to plan our arrival and stay for the weekend.We look forward to coming back again this summer."

"My family recently returned from our second stay in this peaceful cabin. We made fires, cooked yummy meals and streamed the final 4 NCAA games. We also visited the town of Floyd and had lunch at the country store listening to live music. I was excited to see a bear this time, it was running away along the “front” yard when I stepped outside early one morning to take the dog out. "From the arrival and the quaint little bridge to the rolling green hillsides, the towering trees, the river running next to it, and the abundance of animals (and I can only imagine Fey folk), to the sturdy and welcoming cabin, this place is paradise! Absolutely paradise!"

"Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

Very steep driveway up to the cabin (yes, Roanoke has mountains!) -- but don't be discouraged -- we soon realized that parking was available in an area at bottom of hill with steps up to cabin.
