“It’s a typical beach hotel suited to those who aren’t particularly demanding. Although it has no beach of its own, the sea is accessible for swimming and diving when conditions are calm, and the view is quite pleasant. The wind blows steadily from the same direction, which often leaves the water a little choppy. Overall it’s a decent hotel with newly renovated rooms, though it offers no particular refinement.”
“The experience to be in a beautiful Borgo like San Marco, surrounded by the plantation of olive trees are unique.
This Hotel is perfect to move around the towns of Puglia and the place is very beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and the service very friendly.
I would recommend to improve the kitchen specially for breakfast.
But definitely it’s a place that worth to stay!”
“We enjoyed a beautiful night at this Masseria - it was incredibly peaceful with such attention to detail throughout our experience. We enjoyed our dinner sitting amongst the vegetable gardens with festoons lit over head - it was absolutely magical. We got in touch in advance (that day!) as my partner is vegan and they curated a menu especially for him. The pool was lovely, our terrace meant we could star gaze and the wine was delicious. If we could have stayed for several days we would. This……
“Owner Angelo kindly showed us in. Interior was dated but decent, if oddly decorated (plastic flowers, an Egyptian pyramid picture). Despite booking a family room for our 15-year-old, we got a cramped room with an awkward layout, a fridge that wouldn’t close, and a wobbly bathroom sink. The shower tray leaked, and the showerhead was mouldy and torn — I cleaned it myself.
After a lovely dinner in town, we returned to find the pool and function room full of partying teenagers, music blaring past……
