"Always a good value for the money. Family-run business with high priority placed on guests' needs. Staff is great. Much nicer folks than at other "budget" options in the area. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy. Heating & AC work well, as do the appliances. We will stay again when in that area. Great alternative to impersonal chain motels & hotels."

"I have stayed twice and here is my take…. Rooms clean, staff friendly, shower heads need replaced as both times the heads needed delimed or replaced. They lack pressure, and looked like build up was causing them to spray every way but on you. Beds are ok, pillows are small and very smooshy. My kids came this time and were not impressed with breakfast. It’s a very basic hotel. It does have great location!! Its by walmart, dunkin, fort drumm, and other stores. "

"Hotel was OK. Clean enough, just very minimal and basic. It also has no elevator but two floors, so be aware of that if you have a lot of luggage. We asked to change to the first floor but were told the type of room we had (King with sofa?) was different than the rooms on the first floor - I am not sure of that. It just looked so outdated and unfinished. The toilet was small, of center and low to the ground. Bed was uncomfortable and on a very small and loud frame - the top Of the bed was also almost at an angle once you laid down. The TV was also outdated and not a smart tv. The floors were also weirdly uneven? Like there were parts that dipped in…"

"Nothing but great things to say about this place. I highly recommend it. And the price was more than reasonable for such a nice place. Felt like we were living in a museum. Well stocked. Well maintained. Beautiful interior. Games, books, cooking necessities, ample space. Great host. I will return "
