“You would never guess that this is a 50+ year old facility. It looked nearly new to me. The room was on the top floor as I had requested and was fine in all respects. This hotel had "free breakfast"....and it was EXCELLENT. Maybe not an omelet bar but it featured scrambled eggs and sausage, all the usual cereals and such....and an automatic PANCAKE Maker! Way better than I expected.
Turns out that the motel had a complete sit-down restaurant and cocktail lounge "back in the pre-Covid……

“It honestly served its purpose for what we were looking for which is a room to rest our heads at night with heat, a bathroom, and a shower. We spent our entire day out fishing so we did not need somewhere to stay that required to entertain us. My only complaint was the propane bottle was empty when looking to use the grill, and staff was called and problem reported but no call back was……

Room was clean. Everything was in good working condition.

“I rarely leave bad reviews, but my stay at Candlewood Suites Watertown was honestly very disappointing. Carla at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and she was probably the only positive part of the experience.
