“The lodging in Decorah is limited and the Quality Inn is a solid, affordable option. This is a good quality, basic, budget hotel. The rooms have been updated and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot with good water pressure. Rooms include a refrigerator and microwave for saving and reheating your leftover Mabe’s Pizza. The indoor pool was small but clean. The A/C was loud but consistent white noise instead of the common issue of continuously turning on and off all night.……

“We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners……
