"A cozy cabin on a pond- surrounded by woods and wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Host is open and responsive to questions. We enjoyed a great weekend of games by the fireplace and outdoor walks. Due to wind we were only able to build one outdoor fire but the fire ring is great. Lots of wood available. Enjoyed our time and have visited before and will be back. "

"My son and I stayed 6 nights in an accessible room. The website mentions that you have to request housekeeping during longer stays, but even when we did, we found the service a bit unpredictable. There was no niche or shelf for toiletries in the shower, which was inconvenient. Of the five staff members I spoke to during the visit, only one graced us with a smile while we were there. The breakfast was ok, but only one day offered scrambled eggs and sausage; the biscuits and gravy on the other days were not as welcome. Fortunately, the waffle maker remained a reliable alternative. My grandsons loved the pool, which helped make up for some of the other shortcomings, and the location was very convenient. Unfortunately, the town is too small to offer any real competition and the place feels like it."

"This is a beautiful hotel. We loved the character and charm of yesteryear. Walking around the building just to take it all in was amazing. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We are definitely going back!"

"Wonderful!!! Super safe area, family friendly glamping and they have another unique cowboy cabin down the lane from the greenhouse. We plan to rent both units soon for a mini vacation! Met one of the very kind and informative hosts upon arrival, great communication and she addressed our needs as well as tips and tricks. Property was gorgeous and the greenhouse was adorable! Stocked with treats for our hikes around the area. Clean and cozy, they even had an umbrella in there for when it rains. Close to stores, food and our concert at Luther College! Loved the vibe of Decorah and the experience was just lovely. I cannot speak highly enough about this rental and the hosts. We were literally ready to move in! The added benefit of renting the unit was that it is helping the son with his education, love that! Good peoples!!! The price was such a deal and worth every penny. Quiet and peaceful for the perfect retreat into nature, highly recommend!!!"
