“We love Decorah for a weekend getaway from the Twin Cities and the Bluffside Gardens was the PERFECT place to stay. It was right off the trout run trail so we could go biking right from our room without having to drive anywhere. Easy access to downtown and the room was very spacious and clean. We will for sure be back next year!”

“Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling)”

“We booked to get out in nature and unwind. This property checked the boxes. It’s something different and location was great. There are a lot additional fees that drive the cost up. While it was nice to feel secluded away from people, the porta potty was from the 80s and pretty gross. We would have had more room in a tent and would have been much cheaper.”

“Upon arrival, the Front desk attendant barely spoke English so the check in process was cumbersome. The entire hotel smelled of Indian cuisine. It appeared that the owners and family members were living there. The continental breakfast was cereal and old, stale pastries. The coffee offering was a mini Keurig. No sugar or cream that I could find. Went to the gas for coffee. The bed was terribe...we are average size people and the bed was sinking in the middle. The shower was filthy as well the……

“This property was outstanding in every way. Location to the downtown was an easy walk with a grocery store only two blocks away. The home was very clean and inviting both inside and out. King beds in every bedroom were comfortable and had lots of pillows along with fresh linens and towels. Quiet and relaxing made for the perfect stay.”

“What a lovely home to stay in. A historical farm house with beautiful grounds, in a quiet neighborhood but just minutes away from downtown. The house was beautiful inside and out and was able to accomodate our group of 7. A neat old house with vintage hardware floors but modern kitchen and bathrooms, and great outdoors spaces - including a porch swing on the front porch.The host was very accomodating and helped us with a date change in our reservations. Very easy to work with, easy checkin……
