We finally got to the room and it was a mess. The next morning i turned in the key to the office manager, explaining what happened and she made sure to give us a clean room free for the day from 11 am to 5 pm to make sure we got some rest. When he took me to the laundry room and pointed at the area where they supposed to have clean ones I saw a pillow case that had a stain of blood. As well as cockroaches. That’s when I had to leave. So disgusting....we found bugs in the bed. The guy checking us in did not believe we had paid for the room and gave us a hard time despite my showing him the receipt from hotels.co and the confirmation number. We just needed a quick place to rest on our long drive from Arizona to Washington and this provided anything but rest. I found 2 bugs in the bed, killed a cockroach climbing up the wall and found another on the night stand, all within 15 min. They gave us another room and as soon as I walked in dozens of roaches scattered. Needless to say we left, but before doing so I went to the front desk and asked for a refund, the guy said it would take a couple of days to show up on my bank statement.
